Who processes your data on contentmonetizing.com, exactly what data, on what basis, how long it is kept and what you can do about it. A separate section covers the business emails we send ourselves.
This page says what data we process, where it comes from and what you can do about it. No generalities: every case has its own basis, its own retention period and its own way out.
Who is responsible for the data
Kostas Obuchow, registered as FOP Obukhov K.G., 49/99 Heroiv Pratsi St, Kharkiv 61003, Ukraine. For anything on this page: ok@contentmonetizing.online.
Site visitors
We look at where readers come from and what they read. Visit counters do that, and they set cookies — the full list, how long each lives and how to change your choice are on a separate page, Cookies and consent.
Before you press “Accept”, no advertising or analytics cookies are set. Your choice is stored in your browser and can be changed there at any time.
The site shows Google AdSense advertising. Google may set its own cookies and use device identifiers to select ads; what it collects and how to turn it off is in Google’s policy. We pass Google your consent choice. We do not pass it your name or your email address — the one exception is described below, in the section on the application form.
Basis: consent, for advertising and analytics cookies; legitimate interest, for the server logs the site needs to run and to see intrusion attempts.
Subscribing to updates
If you leave an address in the subscription form, we keep that address and the date you left it. Nothing else: no name, no country, nothing about what you read. The address is used only to send a breakdown or to tell you a Meta rule changed, and is passed to nobody.
Basis: your consent. Withdraw it with one email to the address above; the address is deleted the same day.
The business emails we send ourselves
This is a separate case and it is described in detail, because we did not get the data from you.
What we process: the channel or company name, the published email address, and the channel’s public figures — subscriber count, video count, creation date, and the country its owner set in the channel settings.
Where it comes from: open channel descriptions and company pages where the address is published for business enquiries. For every address we store where exactly it was published, in what sentence, and on what day we recorded it — so we can show at any time that it was not obtained any other way.
Why: to write once with a business proposal about the subject the address exists for.
Basis: legitimate interest in direct business contact. We have weighed it against yours: we write only to addresses published for business enquiries, no more than a few times, and we stop at the first word.
Automated processing. Channels are selected by a script on public criteria — a subscriber threshold, the country, video length. That selection makes no decision with legal effect for you: its only outcome is whether a letter is sent.
How to stop it. Reply to any letter of ours with the word STOP, or write to the address above. The same day the address goes onto a permanent suppression list and you hear nothing further from us.
The application form and advertising
If you submitted the application form, at the moment of submission we tell Google Ads that an application happened. We need this to know which ad brings people in and to stop paying for one that does not.
Along with that signal we pass an irreversible hash of your email address — a string the address itself cannot be recovered from. Google compares it against its own data to connect the application with an ad click. The address itself, your name, the channel link, your income and everything else you wrote in the form are not passed to Google and stay with us.
If you did not click “Accept” in the cookie notice, advertising identifiers are not set, and Google estimates such applications statistically, without tying them to you.
Basis: your consent. If you do not want this signal sent, do not accept advertising cookies, or write to us and we will delete the application entirely.
How long we keep it
A subscriber’s address, until you withdraw consent. A business contact’s data, for the length of the correspondence and a year after the last letter. Server logs, up to thirty days.
The suppression list is kept indefinitely, and that is deliberate: it is the only way we can honour your objection. An address cannot be removed from it, because the next round of data collection would bring it back and we would write to someone we promised not to write to. That list holds the address and the date, nothing else.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, have anything inaccurate corrected, have what is unnecessary erased or processing restricted, receive your data in a machine-readable form, and object to processing — and against direct business contact an objection is honoured unconditionally and immediately, with no reason required.
Write to ok@contentmonetizing.online and we will answer within a month. If the answer does not satisfy you, you have the right to complain to the data protection authority in your country.
Changes
The date of the last edit is in the page footer. If anything material changes — the basis for processing, how long data is kept, or what data we hold — we will write to the people whose addresses we have.
